Role Objective :
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of high-quality digital experiences on the Adobe Experience Manager platform. Architect and implement scalable AEM solutions that empower seamless content management across web, mobile, and omni-channel environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, components, templates, workflows, and OSGi services using AEM 6.x/Cloud capabilities.
- Customize AEM author and publish experiences. Integrate with third?party systems (e.g., CRM, analytics), RESTful services, content repositories (JCR/CRX), Sling framework, and other Adobe Cloud/Microservices ecosystems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AEM deployments for high-performance delivery, maintaining standards of security, scalability, and availability.
- Employ Maven, Git, and Jenkins (or similar CI/CD pipelines) to ensure high code quality, maintainability, reusability, and automated delivery. Conduct robust code reviews and unit testing.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, frontend engineers, backend teams, business stakeholders, and QA to define digital experiences, align with project goals, and achieve seamless user-centric outcomes.
- Create and maintain technical design documents (data flows, system architecture, component specifications). Adhere to best practices around modularity, secure code, SEO, accessibility (A, AA, AAA), and performance.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues in production; provide L2/L3 support and ensure continuous availability of AEM solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience : 4-6 years overall with a minimum of 3+ years of hands?on experience in Adobe Experience Manager development.
Core Technical Expertise :
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, OOP, Servlets, JSP, JCR/CRX, Sling Models, Sightly (HTL), and OSGi.
- Extensive exposure to Maven, Git, and AEM workflows.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, jQuery).
- Understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD (Jenkins, Adobe Cloud Manager), and DevOps practices.
Additional & Desirable Skills :
- Familiarity with AEM Cloud Service, Adobe Analytics, Target, or other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
- Knowledge of Search technologies (Solr, Lucene), internationalization (i18n), multi-site management (MSM), tagging, translation, and mobile support.
- Experience in migrating content from legacy CMS systems to AEM.
- Strong analytical skills, UML modeling, and familiarity with architectural patterns.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent problem,solving, communication, and client-facing abilities.
- Capable of working independently and within fast?paced Agile project settings.
Academic Background :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a closely related technical discipline.
