- Solution architecture: Lead end-to-end architecture for Adobe Commerce implementations (on premises to cloud migrations, multisite and multitenant commerce, integrations with PIM, OMS, payment providers, CDNs, and search).

- Technical leadership: Define platform standards, extension/third party strategy, CI/CD, release and deployment patterns, observability and incident response, performance tuning, and security controls.

- Cloud FinOps assessment: Plan and perform a Cloud FinOps assessment across the clients AWS accounts running Adobe Commerce to discover usage, cost drivers, waste, architecture anti patterns, and rightsizing opportunities; produce cost baseline and ongoing governance recommendations (showback/chargeback, tagging, budgets, reserved/spot strategies).

- Performance & scalability: Architect high throughput, low latency commerce solutions with autoscaling, caching, session management, database scaling, search cluster sizing, and CDN strategy.

- Implementation guidance: Produce design artifacts (logical & physical diagrams, runbooks, deployment plans), RFP/RFI evaluation criteria for partners, and hands-on guidance during PoCs or migrations.

- Cost?aware design: Embed cost optimization into architecture decisions (service selection, data lifecycle, storage tiers, compute patterns), balancing reliability, availability, and cost.
