Responsibilities :

- Serve as the Marketo system administrator, managing users, permissions, and platform governance.

- Develop and maintain complex campaigns, triggers, and nurture programs using smart campaigns, tokens, and dynamic content.

- Configure and optimize data integrations between Marketo and external systems (CRM, data warehouse, APIs, and third-party tools).

- Build and maintain Marketo forms, ensuring proper field mappings, validation, and alignment with data capture standards.

- Support custom orchestration builds that connect multiple data sources, channels, and systems for personalized engagement workflows.

- Design and implement custom integrations using Marketo REST APIs and webhooks to extend platform functionality.

- Troubleshoot and address issues related to campaign execution, integrations, or platform performance, implementing mitigation plans as needed.

- Monitor data hygiene, lead scoring, routing logic, and campaign performance across enterprise instances.

- Partner with teammates at Bounteous and the client to ensure accurate execution, consistency in data flow, tagging, and reporting.

- Document configuration decisions, automation logic, and operational processes for ongoing governance and enablement.

- Contribute to platform maturity assessments and automation roadmap discussions with client teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 7 to 10 years of experience in marketing automation or MarTech development, including 5+ years of advanced Marketo Engage administration and configuration.

- Deep understanding of Marketo API, velocity scripting, and data model design.

- Experience integrating Marketo with Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, or other CRM/CDP platforms.

- Strong grasp of B2B demand generation, lead management, and lifecycle marketing best practices.

- Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) strongly preferred.

- Experience working with global delivery models and multi-region campaign support.

- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and responsive email development a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on scalability and automation efficiency.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
