Accion Labs - Node.js Backend Developer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js

- Build and manage cloud-native applications on AWS

- Develop and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL and SQL

- Design and implement microservices and distributed systems architectures

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

- Apply 12-factor application principles to build scalable cloud-native solutions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for production systems

- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

- Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability

- Support CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in Node.js backend development

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, or EKS

- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization

- Experience building scalable APIs and microservices

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture

- Familiarity with 12-factor application methodology

- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Lean development environments

- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems

- Knowledge of Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI

- Exposure to serverless architectures on AWS
