About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GraphQL, API development, and modern backend frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy robust backend services while leveraging AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to enhance productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin.

- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code following software engineering best practices.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

- Design and extend GraphQL schemas and develop resolvers.

- Design, document, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

- Utilize Claude Code for code generation, debugging, and development acceleration.

- Write unit, integration, and automated tests.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps.

Tech Stack & Requirements :

- 3 - 8 years of backend development experience.

- Strong experience with Kotlin.

- Hands-on experience in GraphQL and API development.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Data Structures & Algorithms.

- Experience with Git, Spring Boot, Ktor, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and OAuth2/JWT.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
