Description :
- Lead and guide the technical team through Teamcenter PLM implementation projects.
- Design and deliver Teamcenter PLM solutions tailored to customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership throughout all stages of the projectrequirement gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
- Engage with clients to understand and analyze business needs and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and validate them with stakeholders.
- Participate in solution design workshops and create detailed system design documents.
- Develop and customize Teamcenter functionalities, modules, and integrations based on client specifications.
- Implement extensions, workflows, and custom handlers using ITK, RAC, BMIDE, and SOA frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including :
1. Scope of Work (SOW) and Solution Design Documents (SDD)
2. Architecture and Integration Documents
3. User and Technical Manuals
- Ensure documentation accuracy for smooth handover and future maintenance.
- Participate in solution deployment, configuration, and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
- Support the migration and upgrade of Teamcenter environments.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of existing Teamcenter applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system or application-level issues.
- Provide L2/L3 support for ongoing production environments.
- Analyze customer environments and propose new features or enhancements to improve performance and usability.
- Incorporate new modules or updates into existing environments, ensuring compatibility and stability.
- Conduct unit, functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Prepare detailed test cases, test plans, and scenarios.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful system validation before production deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical / Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5- 8 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM implementation, customization, and support.
- Strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter architecture, BMIDE, ITK, RAC, and SOA.
- Proven experience in Teamcenter customization, data model extensions, and workflow configuration.
- Experience in integration of Teamcenter with CAD tools (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, and Tcl.
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts, configuration management, and product data management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience leading Teamcenter upgrade or migration projects.
- Familiarity with Active Workspace (AWC) and Teamcenter Web UI customization.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies for project execution.
- Knowledge of server administration, performance tuning, and database management (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience working with global teams and multinational clients.
