Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, or Celery.

- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to design and deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.

- Implement API integrations, authentication mechanisms, and security best practices.

- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.

- Work within a test-driven development (TDD) environment using unit and integration testing frameworks.

- Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated builds, testing, and deployments.

- Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specialisation in Computer Science or related field.

- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in a product development setting.

- Love of technology and experience with one or more programming languages, from Python or Go.

- Experience in full-stack development, including designing APIs and integration patterns, implementing security, and implementing frameworks for Unit and End-to-End testing.

- Experience with microservice architecture.

- Experience in one or more frameworks like FastAPI, Spring, GRPC, Flask, etc.

- Extensive experience in a test-driven development environment.

- Understanding of CI/CD practices, including code check-in policies, automated unit tests, automated code deployments, etc.

- Ability to grasp new technologies and use them effectively to create industrial-strength software.
