About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled VSTO .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance desktop applications and Microsoft Office add-ins. This role requires strong expertise in C#, WPF, Windows Forms, and VSTO, with a focus on delivering reliable, user-friendly, and scalable solutions. It will start off as a 9 to 12 -month long contract with possible conversion to a Full time role, else the contract will be extended.

This role will be based out of Bangalore (Manyata Tech) with hybrid work setting (3 days a week).

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Visual Studio-based add-ins for Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

- Build and maintain Windows desktop applications using WPF and Windows Forms.

- Automate and enhance PowerPoint (PPT) workflows for business users.

- Integrate applications with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and source control.

- Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and performance optimization.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Debug and resolve issues in existing applications to improve stability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 4- 10 years of experience in .NET application development.

- Proficiency in C#, Visual Studio, WPF, Windows Forms.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint automation and Office add-in development.

- Strong knowledge of Windows application development and debugging.

- Experience with Azure DevOps for code repositories, builds, and release pipelines.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development.

Good to Have :

- Experience with other Office add-ins (Excel, Word).

- Knowledge of cloud integrations and API development.

- Familiarity with unit testing and automation for desktop apps.
