About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated .NET Developer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications using legacy versions of the .NET framework.

This is a critical role requiring immediate onboarding to support ongoing enterprise-grade projects.

You will work onsite at our Perungalathur, Chennai office, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of project components.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications built on older .NET framework versions (2.0 to 4.5).

- Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle : requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.

- Debug and troubleshoot issues in legacy codebases, ensuring optimal application performance and responsiveness.

- Follow coding standards, best practices, and ensure high code quality through peer reviews and unit testing.

- Support deployment activities and provide immediate post-deployment stabilization and support.

- Work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in .NET development.

- Strong expertise with legacy versions of the .NET Framework (2.0 to 4.5).

- Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and either Windows Forms or Web Forms development.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software design principles.

- Experience in working with SQL Server, including writing complex stored procedures, triggers, and optimizing database performance.

- Familiarity with version control systems like TFS or SVN.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with migration projects involving upgrading from older .NET frameworks to newer platforms.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation tools.
