.Net/Azure Full Stack Engineer - Microservices Architecture

Were rebuilding a legacy IoT monolith into a modern microservices-based platform on Azure.


Looking for a hands-on .net / Azure fullstack engineer who can own development across cloud and edge services.


This role focuses on Azure , microservices, and edge workloads - not device hardware/firmware.


Responsibilities :


- Ramp up quickly on current platform, domain, and modernization roadmap.


- Design and build cloud and edge microservices using .NET/C# with gRPC and RESTful APIs.


- Build integrations across Event Hub, Edge Modules, Gateways, and cloud back-end services.


- Collaborate closely with architects, QA, and product to drive modernization milestones.


- Contribute to CI/CD, code quality, automation, and performance improvements.


Must-Have Requirements :


- 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong .NET and C#.


- Solid experience building gRPC microservices and RESTful APIs.


- Experience with Containerized platforms


- Experience with SQL - MSSQL an NoSQL databases like Cosmos


- Experience working with messaging systems like Kafka or Event Hub


- Experience designing and integrating Edge + Cloud solutions (gateway patterns, routing, offline sync, failover).


- Experience working in designing and developing micro services in Azure environment


- Any frontend technology - Blazor / React / Angular. Role is primarily backend, but there will be some UI integrations.


Good to Have :


- Experience with API Gateway patterns, service mesh, or distributed tracing.


- Exposure to Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, or Time Series Insights.


- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for IoT or microservices workloads.


- Hands-on Azure IoT skills : IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Event Hub, and related services.


- Understanding of IoT messaging protocols AMQP and MQTT.


- DTDL, digital twin concepts, and IoT data modeling.
