What you will do :

- Design and architect enterprise-grade Java solutions that align with Zurichs technology vision.

- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code actively contributing to development alongside the

team.

- Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and developers to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and provide guidance on best practices.

- Address technical challenges with creative, secure, and scalable solutions.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize solution performance, security, and scalability.

- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.

- Document architectural decisions and provide clear implementation guidelines.

- Mentor team members, encouraging growth and hands-on technical skills.

What you bring :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Developer, designing and implementing enterprise-scale Java applications.

- Significant experience as a Java Solution Architect, with a strong coding background in Java (Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, JavaScript's).

- Hands-on experience in cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and DevOps practices.

- Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and agile development.

- Deep understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and integration with external systems.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus.
