Zuora Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Customize and configure Zuora product catalog, rate plans, subscriptions, amendments, usage, and billing rules.

- Develop integrations between Zuora and other systems such as Salesforce, ERP (NetSuite, Oracle), and payment gateways using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Support Zuora workflows using Zuora Workflow Designer and automation tools.

- Work with Zuora objects like Accounts, Subscriptions, Products, Invoices, Payments, and

Credit Memos.

- Manage product catalog versioning and pricing strategies using Zuora Product Catalog tools.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Zuora-related issues, working with the vendor support as needed.

- Participate in data migration, sandbox testing, deployment, and release management.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and data models.

- Work in collaboration with finance, revenue, sales ops, and engineering teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 - 6 years of experience in software development or application support.

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Zuora Billing or Zuora Revenue (formerly RevPro).

- Strong understanding of Zuora data model, APIs, workflows, and standard objects.

- Experience in Zuora system configuration and integration using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Proficient in JavaScript, Apex, SOQL, Java, or similar programming languages for integrations.

- Experience with Salesforce-Zuora connector and/or Zuora CPQ is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with finance and billing processes such as subscriptions, invoicing, usage metering, taxation, payments, and revenue recognition.

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on experience in Zuora Workflow for automation and orchestration.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment automation.

- Experience with integration platforms like Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, or SnapLogic.

- Understanding of subscription KPIs and SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn, and CLTV.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
