Zoop.One - Senior Platform Engineer - Infrastructure Management

We are looking for a forward-thinking Senior Platform Engineer to drive our technical vision and operational excellence. In this role, you will automate critical DevOps tasks, manage both on-premises and cloud infrastructures, and deploy self-hosted open source tools. You'll also architect and develop full stack, especially internal developer portals that empower our engineering teams and foster innovation across the organization.

Role & Responsibilities :

Automation and Process Optimization :

- Continuously assess and improve operational processes.

Infrastructure Management :

- Ensure systems are highly available, secure, and scalable.

Self-Hosted Open Source Solutions :

Full Stack Application Development :

- Architect, develop, and maintain internal developer portals and other applications using modern frameworks such as React for the frontend and Node.js, Go, or Python for the backend.

- Collaborate with teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Proof of Concept (POC) and Technology Adoption :

- Evaluate emerging tools and methodologies, providing recommendations for strategic technology adoption.

Advanced Troubleshooting and Production Support :

Leadership and Mentorship :

- Mentor team members, championing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Documentation and Strategic Planning :

- Drive long-term architectural strategy to support future growth, reliability, and security.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management with hands

on leadership of technical projects.

- Hands-on experience with containerization (e. g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- A background in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Expertise in automation and scripting (e. g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).

- Strong experience with cloud platforms ( Google Cloud, AWS) and/or hybrid infrastructures

- Demonstrated experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining open source tools and platforms.

- Background in full-stack development, with proficiency in frameworks and languages such as React, Node.js, Go, or Python.

- Exceptional troubleshooting skills, along with a commitment to designing secure, scalable, and resilient systems.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with experience working in agile environments.

- A track record of strategic technology leadership and mentoring technical teams.

- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to technology evaluation and process improvement.
