Zindagi Technologies - Senior Frontend Engineer - UI Component

Overview :

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer who is equally passionate about crafting rich, performant user interfaces and designing elegant user experiences

You will own the entire UI/UX lifecycle - from requirement analysis, user journey mapping, wireframes and prototyping (via Figma), to final React+TypeScript component implementation and front-end architecture.

This is not a managerial role. This is a builder's role - best suited for someone who thrives in an environment where they are responsible for both design thinking and production-grade coding.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of clean, maintainable, and scalable UIs using React, TypeScript and Material UI

- Collaborate with the Product owner, backend engineers, and platform stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces

- Create detailed Figma prototypes (low/high fidelity) and conduct quick UX experiments to validate concepts

- Drive the information architecture, interaction design, and UX flows for multi-role, dashboard-heavy platforms

- Establish and evolve a design system that supports consistency across platforms and user personas

- Review UI code, optimise performance, and ensure responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

- Evaluate third-party libraries, charting tools, and UI kits where applicable

- Someone who enjoys coding and designing, not just managing

- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on direct stakeholder feedback

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized frontend deployment.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading sprint ceremonies.

- Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

- Strong grasp of Git and modern version control workflows (e.g., Git Flow).

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities.

Must-Have Skills :

- 6 to 10 years of frontend development experience

- Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, Material UI

- Advanced experience in Figma - wireframing, prototyping, component design

- Proven ability to translate business logic into clean UX flows and frontend data models

- Experience building enterprise-grade dashboards, admin panels, and workflows

- Strong understanding of user-centred design, atomic component structure, and modular layout systems

- Familiarity with developer handoff best practices and versioning in design.

Educational Qualification :

- bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
