Role Overview :

As a Test Engineer at Zimetrics, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of mission-critical applications deployed for our international clientele. You will work closely with cross-functional development and product teams to design robust testing frameworks that align with agile delivery cycles. Your primary impact will be in maintaining the integrity of software releases, reducing time-to-market through automation, and ensuring that the end-user experience meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure full coverage of complex software modules for global clients.

- Develop and maintain scalable automation scripts using Selenium to reduce manual regression efforts and improve release velocity.

- Execute rigorous API testing to validate the seamless integration and data integrity between disparate microservices.

- Conduct detailed performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure system stability under high-concurrency scenarios.

- Manage the entire defect lifecycle within Jira, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution of issues to maintain project timelines.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable test cases and validation scenarios.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing end-to-end testing frameworks, including both manual and automated methodologies.

- Strong proficiency in Selenium for web automation and deep experience in API testing tools to verify backend service performance.

- Proven ability to perform load and stress testing to optimize application performance for large-scale enterprise environments.

- Exceptional analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- High level of proficiency in using Jira for project tracking, bug reporting, and sprint management within an agile environment.

- Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team setup, demonstrating strong self-management and remote collaboration skills.

- A minimum of 3 to 12 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a track record of delivering high-quality software in international projects.
