ZIGRAM - Associate Data Scientist - Python/SQL

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or related fields

- Additional certifications in data wrangling, machine learning, analytics, or data engineering will be of additional value

Work Experience :

- 3-6 years of experience in data science, applied analytics

- Knowledge of basics of machine learning, hypothesis testing and inference

- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL, preferably in a data-product or workflow-driven ecosystem

- Experience in data munging and working with semi-structured text and extraction workflows (regex, parsing, text analysis)

- Experience designing and implementing rules, heuristics, or analytical logics

- Exposure to LLM-based systems, prompt engineering, or applied NLP

- Experience in AML, KYC, risk, fraud, compliance, or domain-heavy analytical work is strongly preferred

- Experience in collaborating with multiple teams and communicating with external stakeholders

- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, partial information, and iterative refinement of analytical logic

- Experience delivering analysis to non-technical stakeholders, explaining logic and its business impact
