About the Role :

Zensar Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a high-impact FinTech/Banking transformation program. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in C#, Playwright, Selenium, API Testing, and modern automation frameworks. This role requires a highly skilled QA professional who can design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions while collaborating closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright and C#.

- Create and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications across multiple browsers and environments.

- Develop and maintain automation suites using Selenium WebDriver with C#, Java, or Python.

- Perform comprehensive API testing using tools and frameworks such as RestAssured, Karate, and Postman/Newman.

- Implement BDD-based testing using Cucumber/Gherkin and Serenity BDD.

- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot automation failures and application defects.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and define test scenarios.

- Develop reusable automation components and continuously improve test coverage and framework efficiency.

- Perform regression, functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Validate event-driven and data-intensive applications involving technologies such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, and PySpark.

- Support performance and scalability testing using JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

- Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Participate in defect analysis, root-cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Contribute to QA best practices, automation standards, coding standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Tech Stack & Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.

- Mandatory : Recent hands-on experience with C# and Playwright.

- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Strong experience in API Testing (RestAssured, Karate, Postman/Newman).

- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and authentication.

- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin, Serenity BDD).

- Hands-on exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and PySpark.

- Experience in FinTech, Banking, Payments, or Financial Services applications.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
