Job Overview :

This is an exciting career opportunity for a highly experienced QA Lead to join our team. We are seeking a professional with 6-10 years of experience, specializing in ETL Testing, QA processes, Test Case management, Test Data management, and Azure Services. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, driving quality assurance for complex data solutions and leading testing initiatives across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the entire Quality Assurance process for data-centric projects, focusing on ETL and cloud-based solutions.

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for ETL processes and data pipelines.

- Implement and manage Test Data management strategies, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the testing lifecycle.

- Conduct thorough ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

- Perform testing of solutions built on Azure Services, including data storage, processing, and analytics components.

- Collaborate closely with development, data engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and automation strategies.

- Potentially lead and mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality.

Required Skills :

- 6 - 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on data testing.

- Expertise in ETL Testing, including data validation, data integrity checks, and transformation logic verification.

- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with QA processes and methodologies.

- Proven ability to design, write, and manage detailed test cases.

- Strong experience in Test Data management techniques and tools.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Services related to data (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database).

- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.

- Experience with various testing types (functional, integration, regression, performance).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
