Job Overview :

We're looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports. You'll work closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into compelling data visualizations that drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.

- Connect to various data sources, including databases, cloud platforms, and flat files, and perform necessary data transformations using Power Query (M language).

- Develop and optimize complex data models within Power BI Desktop, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

- Write advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and tables for robust analysis.

- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into technical specifications.

- Publish, manage, and secure Power BI reports and dashboards on Power BI Service.

- Implement row-level security (RLS) to ensure data confidentiality.

- Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.

- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.

- Experience connecting to and transforming data from diverse sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs).

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.

- Ability to design visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports.

- Experience with Power BI Service for publishing, sharing, and administering reports.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business users.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage).

- Knowledge of other reporting tools (SSRS, Tableau).

- Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL tools.

- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
