We are looking for an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Developer with 5 - 12 years of experience in Guidewire development, with strong hands-on expertise in BillingCenter Configuration and Integration.

The ideal candidate should have experience in developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Guidewire BillingCenter applications.

Candidates with exposure to other Guidewire Centers, Rating, APD, Forms, SBT, and Integration Gateway will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain Guidewire BillingCenter applications.

- Develop and enhance BillingCenter functionality using Gosu, Guidewire Configuration, Data Model, UI configuration, and Business Rules.

- Develop and maintain integrations between BillingCenter and external systems using Guidewire Integration Framework.

- Work on APIs, web services, messaging, and other integration mechanisms.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Guidewire solutions.

- Participate in technical design, development, code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and fixes.

- Perform configuration and integration development across different BillingCenter modules.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other development teams.

- Ensure solutions follow Guidewire development standards and best practices.

- Support application upgrades, deployments, performance improvements, and production releases.

- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- Relevant Experience in GW BC INTEG Developer

- Candidates should have hands-on experience in :

1. BillingCenter integration development.

2. Guidewire Integration Framework.

3. REST/SOAP web services and APIs.

4. Messaging and asynchronous integrations.

5. Integration with external applications such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, payment systems, CRM, customer portals, and third-party applications.

6. Data mapping and transformation.

7. Error handling, logging, retries, and exception management.

8. Batch processes and integration-related troubleshooting.

9. End-to-end integration testing.

- Relevant Experience in GW BC CONFIG Developer

- Strong hands-on experience in :

1. BillingCenter configuration and customization.

2. Gosu programming.

3. Data Model configuration.

4. UI configuration.

5. Business Rules.

6. Validation rules.

7. Workflows and activities.

8. Billing plans and payment-related configurations.

9. Account, policy, invoice, payment, and receivables-related functionality.

10. Product/model configuration as applicable.

11. Batch processes.

12. Configuration of screens, entities, typelists, and extensions.

13. Debugging and performance optimization.

- Experience in other Centers (if applicable)

- Exposure to the following will be an advantage :

1. Guidewire PolicyCenter

2. Guidewire ClaimCenter

3. Guidewire InsuranceSuite

4. Experience working across multiple Guidewire Centers.

5. Understanding of end-to-end insurance business processes and data flow between PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

- Experience in Rating / APD / Forms / SBT / Integration Gateway

- Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred :

1. Rating : Guidewire Rating configuration/development and rating-related implementations.

2. APD : Advanced Product Designer and product model configuration.

3. Forms : Guidewire Forms configuration and customization.

4. SBT : Exposure to Guidewire Studio/related configuration and development tools.

5. Integration Gateway : Experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway and integration architecture.

6. Experience in configuring or integrating Guidewire applications with external systems.
