About the Role :

We are looking for a seasoned Zendesk Developer / Zendesk Support Engineer to own, customize, and scale enterprise-grade Zendesk implementations. The role focuses on building efficient support workflows, custom apps, and integrations that enhance customer experience and agent productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and manage Zendesk Support workflows including triggers, automations, macros, SLAs, views, and business rules

- Customize and maintain Zendesk Help Center themes, templates, layouts, and content structure

- Design and develop custom applications using Zendesk App Framework (ZAF)

- Integrate Zendesk with third-party tools and internal systems using REST APIs and webhooks

- Build and maintain custom scripts and extensions using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

- Optimize support operations through automation and performance-driven configurations

- Troubleshoot complex Zendesk issues and provide advanced technical support

- Maintain clear documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom applications

- Collaborate with business and support teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

- Support Zendesk upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements

Skills Required :

- Strong hands-on expertise in Zendesk Support, Help Center (Guide), and Zendesk Explore

- Proven experience with Zendesk App Framework (ZAF) and custom app development

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs

- Experience with third-party integrations, webhooks, or middleware tools

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks end-to-end

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

- 5+ years of hands-on experience within the Zendesk ecosystem
