Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced React Developer to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, a passion for building exceptional user experiences, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role will be instrumental in designing and developing high-performance, scalable web applications using modern front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive and interactive React-based web applications.

- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions.

- Lead architectural discussions for front-end components, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Optimize application performance through code optimization, efficient rendering, and effective state management.

- Implement reusable components, libraries, and design patterns to improve development efficiency.

- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor junior developers.

- Integrate with Java-based back-end systems and RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and system compatibility.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) and contribute to continuous process improvement.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

Key Requirements :

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : 5 - 8 years of experience in front-end development with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using React.js.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Strong understanding of front-end architecture, state management (Redux, Recoil, or Context API), and component-driven development.

- Experience integrating front-end applications with Java-based backends via REST APIs or GraphQL.

- Familiarity with Node.js, SDK development, and front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn).

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and Agile development practices.

- Exposure to automated testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with a focus on team success.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Good to Have :

- Experience working in a micro-frontend or monorepo architecture.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment of front-end applications.

- Knowledge of performance optimization, security best practices, and accessibility (A11y) standards.

- Prior experience in a startup or product-based environment.
