Zelis - .Net Lead - Payment System

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced .NET Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications for the Zelis Payments Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise-grade payment systems, along with proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design and development of applications within the Zelis Payments ecosystem

- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define technical solutions

- Drive architecture decisions, code quality, and best practices across the team

- Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring high performance and delivery excellence

- Build and enhance payment processing, reconciliation, and financial transaction systems

- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards

- Work on API development, system integrations, and microservices-based architecture

- Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely delivery

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong experience in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+

- Expertise in ASP.NET Web API, MVC

- Hands-on with Microservices architecture & RESTful services

- Experience with Azure Cloud (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, DevOps)

- Strong knowledge of SQL Server / NoSQL databases

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus)

- Familiarity with payment platforms, financial systems, or healthcare platforms (preferred)

- Knowledge of security practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption)

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices

- Frontend exposure (Angular/React) is a plus
