Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BW/4HANA Engineer with strong ABAP expertise to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade data warehousing and analytics solutions.

This role is hands-on and requires deep technical proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning.

You will work closely with functional teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Development :

- Design, develop, and implement robust SAP BW/4HANA solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Build scalable and efficient data models using ADSOs, CompositeProviders, and Open ODS Views.

- Develop complex transformation logic using ABAP routines following SAP best practices.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution improvements.

Data Modeling & Integration :

- Integrate BW/4HANA with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and non-SAP data sources.

- Enhance or create extractors using ABAP for custom requirements.

- Work with HANA modelers and functional teams to support hybrid modeling scenarios.

- Implement optimized ETL processes ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability.

Reporting & Analytics Enablement :

- Support reporting teams in developing analytical solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other BI tools.

- Align BW data models with business KPIs and analytical frameworks.

- Ensure data readiness and availability for enterprise reporting platforms.

Support, Troubleshooting & Optimization :

- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex data load, modeling, and performance issues.

- Debug and enhance ABAP code within transformations, extractors, and exit routines.

- Continuously optimize ETL processes, query performance, and data models.

Documentation, Standards & Knowledge Sharing :

- Maintain clear documentation of data models, development logic, and overall architecture.

- Follow and enforce development standards, data governance, and security protocols.

- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to peers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- SAP BW/4HANA or ABAP certification is an advantage.

Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BW, with at least 5 years dedicated to BW/4HANA.

- Proven experience in end-to-end BW/4HANA development, data modeling, and support.

Technical Skills :

- Deep expertise in SAP BW/4HANA architecture, modeling, and ETL processes.

- Strong ABAP development skills, including :

1. Start/End/Expert Routines.

2. Customer Exit Variables (EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001).

3. Extractor enhancements (RSAP0001).

4. Debugging and performance tuning.

- Proficiency with SAP HANA Studio, Eclipse-based modeling tools, and SQL scripting.

- Experience integrating BW/4HANA with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

- Solid understanding of data warehousing, data governance, and BI best practices.

Preferred :
