YASH Technologies - Test Engineer - JMeter/LoadRunner

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust performance test scripts using Apache JMeter (including Groovy, JSR223, Web HTTP, Selenium WebDriver integrations).

- Execute end-to-end performance testing including requirements gathering, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.

- Perform client-side performance testing using Lighthouse and Sitespeed.io.

- Build and monitor dashboards using tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, and Kibana for performance metrics visualization.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and provide insights on system performance.

- Conduct root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers to recommend improvements.

- Utilize LoadRunner for comparative or legacy performance testing where applicable.

- Work on scripting and automation using SQL, Java, Python, or other relevant languages.

- Stay up to date with evolving testing tools and methodologies and adapt accordingly.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance goals and service level objectives are met.

Required Skills :

- Advanced expertise in JMeter, with scripting using Groovy, JSR223, and integration with Selenium WebDriver.

- Strong experience with AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana for performance monitoring and visualization.

- Experience in AWS Cloud Monitoring via CloudWatch.

- Hands-on experience with Sitespeed.io, Lighthouse for client-side performance analysis.

- Proficiency in LoadRunner.

- Solid programming experience in SQL, and one or more languages such as Java or Python.

- In-depth understanding of performance testing lifecycle, from planning to analysis.

- Ability to independently handle E2E performance testing projects.

Desired Skills :

- Experience creating custom Sitespeed scripts.

- Exposure to building in-house testing tools or utilities.

- Knowledge in performance engineering and profiling tools.

- Experience with platforms such as SauceLabs, ThousandEyes.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
