Job Description :

- 7+ of experience in NAS storage administration, with a focus on NetApp storage solutions.

- Strong understanding of storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) and storage networking concepts (SAN, NAS).

- Comprehensive knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) architecture and its hardware/software products.

- Proficient with NetApp NAS Storage (CDOT) platforms, including StorageGRID, FabricPool, replication, and backup strategies (SnapVault, SnapMirror).

- Exposure to NetApp cloud offering such as BlueXp, FSX Ontap & CVO. Familiarity with migration tools such

as DataDobi, Robocopy, and securecopy.

- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions, such as TSM & Commvault.

- Proficiency in scripting/automation using Ansible, with hands-on experience in opensource analytics and visualization tools like Grafana.

- Experience with SAN storage arrays and switches is advantageous, particularly IBM SVC, FSxxxx, and Brocade SAN directors.

- Relevant certifications, such as NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE), are a plus.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact collaboratively across teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities :

NAS Storage Administration :

- Administer and manage our NAS storage solutions, with a primary focus on NetApp storage.

- Maintain and optimize Network Attached Storage (NAS) architecture and its associated hardware/software products.

- Ensure the efficient operation of NetApp NAS Storage (CDOT) platforms, including features like StorageGRID, FabricPool, replication (SnapVault, SnapMirror), and comprehensive backup strategies.

Storage Protocols & Networking :

- Apply a strong understanding of storage protocols such as NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI.

- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of storage networking concepts (SAN, NAS).

Automation & Monitoring :

- Develop and implement scripting/automation solutions using Ansible to streamline storage operations.

- Utilize opensource analytics and visualization tools like Grafana for monitoring and reporting on storage health and performance.

Data Migration & Backup :

- Work with data migration tools such as DataDobi, Robocopy, and securecopy.

- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions like TSM and Commvault.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate effectively across various teams and departments, sharing knowledge and ensuring seamless integration of storage solutions.

- Utilize effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
