About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge in Finance & Controlling, strong understanding of US regulatory frameworks, and hands-on experience with Fiori, data migration, and cross-functional integrations.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

- Lead FIT-GAP workshops and gather business requirements.

- Configure SAP FICO modules using SSCUIs in S/4HANA Public Cloud.

- Provide functional design for custom fields, forms, workflows, and integrations.

- Ensure alignment with US GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and audit requirements.

- Validate financial postings, month-end processes, and internal controls.

- Drive UAT, SIT, deployment readiness, cutover, and hypercare support.

- Work closely with MM, SD, PP, and integration teams for seamless end-to-end process flows.

- Coordinate with BTP Integration Suite teams for third-party integrations.

- Lead migration of finance master & transactional data using Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/Fiori).

- Build analytical use cases using Fiori apps, Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, and SAC.

- Serve as the SME for Finance process design.

- Prepare functional specs, test scripts, process documentation, and training materials.

- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- General Ledger : Universal Journal, parallel accounting, ledger setup.

- Asset Accounting : Depreciation areas, asset classes, US GAAP rules.

- Cash & Liquidity Management : Bank account setup in S/4HANA cloud.

- Controlling (CO) : Cost centers, internal orders, profitability analysis (CO-PA).

- SSCUIs : Configuration using Self-Service Configuration UIs (instead of SPRO).

- In-App Extensibility : Custom fields, workflows, forms.

- Integration : Familiarity with BTP Integration Suite for tax, banking, and third-party systems.

- Accounting Standards : US GAAP (mandatory), IFRS basics.

- Tax : US Sales & Use Tax; experience with Vertex/Avalara is a plus.

- Compliance : SOX controls, audit trail requirements.

- Manufacturing Finance : COGM, costing, period-end activities.

- Experience with Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/Fiori) for GL, vendors, customers, assets.

- Expertise with Fiori finance apps, embedded analytics, and CDS views.

- Working knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud for dashboards and reporting.

- FI-MM : GR/IR, inventory valuation, vendor payments.

- FI-SD : Billing, AR, revenue recognition.

- FI-PP/CO : Production order settlement, variance posting
