We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer with deep expertise in test automation, JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, and frontend testing frameworks.

You will be part of a Product Engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, stable, and high-performing customer-facing applications.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a passion for quality engineering, and a proactive approach to building automation-first testing practices.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Web UI and API test coverage.

- Implement and enhance automation frameworks for E2E, functional, regression, and API testing.

- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Designers, Product Managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality product delivery.

- Perform frontend testing using modern tools such as Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vitest, etc.

- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, create reusable collections, and integrate them into automation flows.

- Review functional & non-functional requirements for testability and identify suitable automation candidates.

- Develop robust test strategies, test cases, and maintain clear test documentation.

- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration using tools like GitHub Actions.

- Ensure adherence to best practices related to code quality, test data management, and automation standards.

- Drive continuous improvement in test processes and advocate for automation-first quality practices.

Qualifications :

Must-Have Skills :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer.

- 3+ years of experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript.

- 8+ years of experience with :

1. JavaScript / ES6

2. TypeScript

3. Frontend testing frameworks (Vitest or similar)

4. UI automation and XPath/CSS selectors

- API testing

- REST APIs

- Node.js & npm

- End-to-end (E2E) automation

- Postman

- Git and semantic versioning

- Code quality tools (ESLint, Prettier)

- Strong expertise in :

1. Building automation frameworks (UI & API)

2. Designing reusable automation libraries and utilities

- Identifying functional flows and business components for automation

- Writing reliable and scalable test scripts

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe).

- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
