Role : Python Developer (Data Engineering Focus)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python Developer with 6-8 years of experience to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and developing data applications using Python, SQL, and DBT, with hands-on experience in building PySpark jobs.

What You'll Do :

- Design & Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data applications using Python, SQL, and DBT (Data Build Tool).

- PySpark Job Development : Build, optimize, and maintain data processing jobs primarily in PySpark, leveraging Python. Experience with Scala for PySpark or general Scala development is a strong plus.

- Data Pipeline Construction : Contribute to the development and optimization of efficient and reliable data pipelines.

- SQL Expertise : Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

- Code Quality : Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices through code reviews and testing.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks within data applications and pipelines.

Key Requirements :

- 6-8 years of experience in Python development with a strong focus on data engineering.

- Proven experience in designing and developing applications using Python, SQL, and DBT (Data Build Tool).

- Hands-on experience in developing data processing jobs in PySpark, with Python.

- Experience with Scala (for PySpark or general development) is preferred.

- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
