Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

- Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, taking complete ownership of planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

- Lead project estimation, proposal creation, resource planning, budgeting, and client presentations.

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.

- Delegate, track, and manage project tasks to ensure productivity, quality, and effective resource utilization.

- Prepare regular status reports, manage project risks and dependencies, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana) to monitor progress and report on KPIs.

Technical & Strategic Responsibilities :

- Leverage strong understanding of ETL and Data Warehousing concepts to guide teams through implementation and optimization.

- Drive data migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

- Provide inputs to define and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise data architecture, aligning current capabilities with future business goals.

- Offer technical leadership across data access, integration, modelling, visualization, and analytics.

- Establish best practices, standards, and guidelines for data design, development, deployment, and support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to architectural and process frameworks.

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring satisfaction from offshore.

- Engage in RFPs, resource planning, and commercial discussions to drive data-driven engagements.

- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

Required Technical Expertise :

- Strong understanding of ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Architecture principles.

- Hands-on knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Snowflake, Synapse, Data Factory).

- Familiarity with data migration, data modelling, and database design (SQL Server, AWS RDS, etc.).

- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data mining/profiling techniques.

- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, compute frameworks, and performance optimization.

- Experience working with both private and public cloud environments.

Required Qualifications & Competencies :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10 to 14 years of total experience with at least 34 years in project management roles.

- Proven experience managing data and cloud-focused projects end to end.

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills; able to guide cross-functional teams effectively.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving abilities.

- Process-oriented, detail-driven, and adaptable in dynamic environments.

Preferred Skills :

- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Project Management certification.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in DataOps or Cloud Transformation initiatives.

- Strong commercial acumen for engagement and proposal management.
