Job Description :

Years of Experience : 7+.

Technologies :

Solr, Java, Spring boot, React, API, website search technologies, SEO, continuous deployment and DevOps tools, Git.

Responsibilities :

- Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycle.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web, mobile and eCommerce solutions that meet business needs.

- Partner with Visual Design and User Experience teams to develop effective/engaging designs.

- Own and drive specific area(s) of website functionality such as search, products, account, videos, web site performance including prioritized enhancement stories and development of features for those areas of responsibility.

- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and agile development.

Skills/Qualifications :

- At least 7 years of web application development experience in the search field.

- Advanced Java expertise.

- Expert with Apache SOLR and Spring Boot.

- Experience with SOLR Master/Slave Replication implementations or SOLR Cloud.

- Solid understanding of consuming and building RESTful APIs.

- Experience with React, HTML and CSS.

- Knowledge of current search engine trends and best practices on topics such as keywords, tuning, synonyms, boost/bury, SEO, etc.

- Experience with SAP Commerce and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.

- Ability to write & document clean and efficient code.

- Understanding of common development principles and design patterns.

- Understanding of the software development process, version control.

- Agile development experience.
