YASH Technologies - Associate Lead Consultant - SAP ABAP/S/4 HANA Module

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and deliver SAP migration, upgrade, and conversion projects with focus on ABAP development in S/4HANA environments.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and design effective technical solutions.

- Evaluate and mitigate technical risks and challenges in S/4HANA conversion and upgrade activities.

- Develop and optimize applications using ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).

- Lead a team of 4- 6 ABAP developers, ensuring code quality, adherence to best practices, and timely delivery.

- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of ABAP and HANA-based applications.

- Work closely with BASIS, Functional, and Data Migration teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- Prepare and maintain technical design documents, perform unit and integration testing, and support go live activities.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and frameworks to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, including :

1.Core Data Services (CDS)

2. ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)

3. OData Services (Gateway / Fiori Integration)

4. RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)

5. Code Pushdown and Performance Optimization Techniques

- Proven experience in system migration, upgrade, and conversion projects (ECC to S/4HANA).

- Ability to analyze custom code and adapt it for S/4HANA compatibility.

- Strong knowledge of SAP development tools such as Eclipse (ADT), SE80, and Transport Management.

- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience leading a team of 4- 6 developers and managing delivery across multiple workstreams.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 integration and modern ABAP design patterns.

- Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform, BTP, or integration scenarios is a plus.

- Certification in SAP ABAP on HANA or S/4HANA Development preferred.
