Yamaha Motor - SAP MM Consultant

Job Summary :

Yamaha Motor Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA implementations and rollouts for an onsite project in Brazil. The consultant will play a key role in configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP Materials Management (MM) module while ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules and alignment with business processes. This role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on experience across the full SAP project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and support SAP MM implementation and rollout projects in SAP S/4HANA environments

- Configure and customize SAP MM processes, including: Procurement (PR, PO, RFQ)

- Inventory Management Goods Receipt & Goods Issue Invoice Verification

- Vendor Master and Material Master data Work closely with business stakeholders to: Gather and analyze business requirements

- Prepare functional specifications

- Design and propose SAP MM solutions aligned with business needs

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules such as: FI (Finance) SD (Sales & Distribution) PP (Production Planning) WM/EWM (Warehouse Management) Support system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities

- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM-related issues in a timely manner

- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Ensure compliance with business processes, internal controls, and SAP best practices

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM Strong experience working with SAP S/4HANA

- Proven experience in SAP implementations and rollouts

- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and inventory processes

- Experience in preparing functional documents (FS, BRD, Test Scripts)

- Ability to work in a client-facing, onsite environment

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in global or multi-country SAP projects

- Knowledge of Brazil localization or LATAM projects (added advantage)

- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps related to MM

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
