We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Support Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of business-critical applications. This role involves troubleshooting application issues, supporting end users, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams, and continuously improving application support processes.

Key Responsibilities :



- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for enterprise applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.


- Monitor application performance, identify issues, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.


- Investigate and troubleshoot application errors, data issues, and system integration problems.


- Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve complex technical issues and support application releases.


- Document incidents, root cause analyses, solutions, and standard operating procedures.


- Assist with application deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes.


- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates and ensure user

satisfaction.


- Participate in on-call support rotations as required.


- Proactively identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance

support efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications :



- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.



- 2 - 5 years of experience in application support or a similar technical support role.


- Strong understanding of application architectures, databases (SQL), APIs, and operating systems.



- Experience with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and incident management processes.


- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :



- Experience supporting web-based or cloud-hosted applications.


- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.


- Basic scripting or automation knowledge is a plus.
