Job Role : SAP Successfactors -AS400 Developer

Job Summary :

- We are seeking an experienced AS/400 Developer with strong proficiency in RPG IV (RPGLE), CL, and DB2/400 to join our development team.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of business applications on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications written in RPGLE, CLLE, and SQLRPGLE on the IBM iSeries platform.

- Analyze user requirements and create technical specifications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs.

- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

- Perform system analysis and performance tuning.

- Document programs, procedures, and changes thoroughly.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Support legacy applications and assist in modernization initiatives (if applicable).

- Provide support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV, CL, Free Format RPG and DB2/400.

- Strong experience with ILE concepts and modular programming.

- Proficiency in SQL and embedded SQL in RPGLE.

- Familiarity with CL programs/scripts and job scheduling.

- Experience with file handling, data queues, message queues, and journaling.

- Ability to write technical documentation and understand business requirements.

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Knowledge of third-party tools like Aldon Lifecycle Manager.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities
