Xerago - Team Lead/UI Developer

Job Summary :

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in modern web technologies, UI/UX best practices, and team leadership.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can design, code, mentor, and drive the development of high quality user interfaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of UI developers to deliver high-quality front-end solutions.

- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of UI components and features.

- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented environment within the team.

UI Development & Technical Ownership :

- Take ownership of UI architecture, design patterns, and reusable components.

- Translate wireframes, prototypes, and design assets into high-quality code.

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless implementation of visual design.

Process & Best Practices :

- Optimize application performance, usability, and accessibility.

- Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders for end-to-end delivery.

- Ensure compatibility across different browsers, platforms, and devices.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve user experience.

- Drive automation, CI/CD integration, and DevOps alignment in the front-end development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 7- 10 years of professional experience in front-end/UI development.

- 2- 3 years of experience in a team lead or senior role.

Technical Skills :

Must Have :

- Expertise in modern UI frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Experience in state management (Redux, Context API, NgRx, Vuex, etc.

- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG/ARIA).

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs / GraphQL integration.

- Proficiency with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.), and Agile/Scrum practices.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to TypeScript and Next.js/Nuxt.js.

- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management.

- Ability to balance hands-on coding with team management responsibilities
