Xemplar Insights - C#/.Net Developer

Xemplar is a US-based software and solutions company specializing in customer engagement and risk management software using AI/ML, GPT, Mobile, Web, and Cloud technologies for insurance and financial services customers primarily in the US and Europe.

We are seeking a talented and experienced C#/.NET Developer with a strong focus on building robust and scalable RESTful APIs.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing the backend services that power our applications, working closely with our frontend team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Must-Have Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with C# and .NET (Core or later).

- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Hands-on experience with SQL Server.

- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.

- Experience writing unit tests.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills :

- Experience with Entity Framework.

- Familiarity with API documentation tools.

- Exposure to Windows Services or background jobs.

- Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth2).

- Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using C# and the .NET framework.

- Collaborate directly with our frontend developers to understand API requirements, integrate services, and troubleshoot issues.

- Work with SQL databases to design schemas, write efficient queries, and manage data.

- Participate in the entire API development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our backend systems.

- Potentially assist in packaging or providing database resources for the development team.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience as a C# Developer with a strong portfolio of RESTful API development.

- In-depth knowledge of the .NET framework and related technologies.

- Solid understanding of REST principles and architectural patterns.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.

- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team.

Educational Qualifications :

- Engineering graduate or B.Tech/MCA with relevant major subjects like Computer Science.

- Applicants with other advanced certifications in relevant areas will be preferred.
