Role : Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Key Responsibilities :

Manual Testing Expertise :

1. Test applications simultaneously, ensuring end-to-end flow validation.

2. Identify and document UI issues, validate user journeys, and ensure functional accuracy.

3. Perform accessibility (ADA) testing in compliance with ADA rules and standards.

4. Conduct manual testing across latest iOS, Android, and tablet devices in core browsers (Safari, Chrome).

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) :

1. Understand and validate authoring of components within AEM.

2. Collaborate with content teams to ensure proper functionality of authored components.

Automation Testing :

1. Develop and maintain automation scripts using WebdriverIO (wdio) with Typescript.

2. Design scripts to run seamlessly across applications.

3. Ensure scripts are web-compatible initially, with capability to extend for mobile compatibility.

4. Maintain Jenkins automation builds, ensuring successful execution and stability.

5. Utilize AI tools (e.g., Kiro) to generate and optimize automation scripts.

Deployment & Regression Testing :

1. Support generic deployments (2 to 3 times per month) by providing regression sign-off.

2. Perform regression testing on desktop, mobile, and tablet across environments (Stage, Preview, Production).

3. Own specific components and ensure their stability post-deployment.

Agile & Scrum Practices :

1. Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality features.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing :

1. Create and maintain Confluence pages for test use cases, workflows, and other documentation.

2. Ensure testing processes, scripts, and methodologies are well-documented for team reference.

3. Keep documentation updated to support onboarding and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Knowledge :

- Strong expertise in manual and mobile testing across multiple platforms and browsers.

- Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO with Typescript for automation.

- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) authoring workflows.

- Knowledge of ADA compliance testing.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks.

- Exposure to AI-based tools for automation support.

- Experience in creating and maintaining Confluence documentation.
