Job Title : Senior AI-Driven Data Engineering Transformation Lead

Location : Noida

Experience : 8 to 10+ years

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering professional to lead an AI transformation initiative that will modernize our data onboarding processes. You will spearhead the implementation of the enterprise adopted AI tools and solutions to optimize data onboarding initiatives, while enabling product teams and enhancing developer workflows across our data engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Transformation Leadership :

- Lead end-to-end implementation of AI-powered data engineering workflows

- Design and execute phased rollout strategy across structured, curated, landing, and consumption data layers

- Establish decision gates and success metrics for each implementation phase

- Drive adoption across developers and product owners, ensuring smooth change management

Technical Implementation :

- Architect AI-enhanced requirements analysis processes using enterprise AI tools

- Implement cross-layer optimization strategies for AWS Glue, S3, and Snowflake integrations

- Enable product teams to handle low-complexity data loads with AI assistance

- Develop parallel execution workflows to eliminate current sequential bottlenecks

- Create standardized templates and best practices for AI-assisted development

Process Optimization & Enablement :

- Transform current data delivery cycles to achieve more efficient timelines

- Design training programs for team upskilling on AI tools and methodologies

- Establish governance frameworks for AI tool usage and quality assurance

- Document transformation playbooks and knowledge transfer materials

Stakeholder Management :

- Present progress and ROI metrics to executive leadership at regular decision gates

- Collaborate with product teams to define simple vs. complex data load criteria

- Coordinate with DevOps and platform teams for production deployment readiness

- Manage vendor relationships and technical support escalations

Required Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- 8-10+ years in data engineering with hands-on cloud experience (Glue, S3, Lambda, EMR)

- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data pipeline orchestration tools

- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse and modern data stack architectures

- Familiarity with AI/ML tools for code generation and requirements processing

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices

Leadership & Transformation Experience :

- Proven track record leading large-scale technical transformations

- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change

- Strong project management skills with ability to deliver against aggressive timelines

- History of implementing new tools/technologies in enterprise environments

Business Acumen :

- Understanding of data governance, quality frameworks, and compliance requirements

- Experience translating technical capabilities into business value propositions

- Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Track record of delivering measurable productivity improvements

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience with Amazon Kiro or similar AI-powered data tools

- GitHub Copilot implementation experience in enterprise settings

- Certification in AWS Data Analytics or Machine Learning

- Experience in Agile/DevOps transformation initiatives
