About The Role :
Creating a world-class customer experience is critical to Ethos mission and will continue to determine our growth and success in the life insurance industry.
We are looking for a Workflow Automations Analyst who can help enable our Revenue teams to deliver this experience.
This specific position will focus on various types of automations leveraging AI and workflow tools across several different teams at Ethos.
To succeed in this role, you should be passionate about creating frictionless processes to improve both the operations at Ethos as well as the overall customer experience.
Roles And Responsibilities :
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to map, analyze, and redesign current business processes with a focus on efficiency, scale, and customer impact.
- Gather and translate operational needs into structured workflow requirements, including business logic, data flows, and success criteria.
- Build, test, and deploy workflow automations using tools such as Zapier, N8N, CRM workflows, and AI-driven components.
- Establish workflow QA processes including UAT, performance testing, and monitoring to ensure automations run reliably and securely.
- Use data and metrics to measure automation impact and continuously identify new opportunities for operational improvement.
- Maintain a repository of implemented automations through detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and solutions.
Skills And Qualifications :
- 1+ year of hands-on experience building workflows in Zapier, N8N, Make.com, or similar platforms required.
- Experience reviewing and documenting current business processes required.
- 3+ years experience in an operations focused role with frequent execution of analysis and use of data driven insights that has led to improved processes.
- Extremely detail oriented and have an analytical mindset with the ability to exercise discretion in the process of identifying and resolving problems/issues.
- Proficiency with automation tools and programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent builds.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical workflows to non-technical stakeholders.
- Have a personal drive to work proactively and take ownership in all you do.
