Workday Technical Consultant - HCM/EIB Modules

Role : Workday Technical Consultant

Experience : 3 to 6 Years

Certification : Active Workday Certification is mandatory

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and certified Workday Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in Integrations and/or Data Conversions. The ideal candidate should have successfully contributed to multiple Workday implementation projects, demonstrating strong technical acumen, design thinking, and client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities (Integration Focus) :

- Design, develop, and maintain integrations using : EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Studio, PECI, WECI, Document Transformation (DT), Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs), Calculated Fields, XSLT, XML

- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to conduct detailed integration requirement and design discussions.

- Write detailed technical specifications, integration design documents, and test plans.

- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and support integration troubleshooting.

- Ensure alignment with overall Workday integration strategies and enterprise HR architecture.

Key Responsibilities (Conversion Focus) :

- Lead end-to-end data conversion activities across Workday HCM implementations.

- Conduct data mapping sessions with business and technical stakeholders.

- Design and execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for large-scale datasets.

- Define and manage data validation, reconciliation, and prototype iterations.

- Support clients in identifying conversion issues, gap resolution, and migration planning.

- Maintain data integrity throughout project phases and ensure audit readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Active Workday Certification (Integration and/or HCM/Data Conversion)

- Proven experience across at least two full-cycle Workday projects in Integration or Conversion capacity.

- Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM, Benefits, and Payroll Connectors.

- Proficiency in XSLT, XML, Web Services, and Workdays API ecosystem.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have :

- Experience working with Workday Extend, BIRT, or other Workday tools.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with security configuration in Workday integrations.
