About the role :

We are seeking an experienced Workday Program Manager / Workday Solution Architect to lead and deliver complex HRIS transformation programs across global organizations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across the Workday ecosystem, strong program governance capabilities, and a proven track record of driving successful, large-scale Workday HCM and Payroll implementations.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can seamlessly balance solution architecture with hands-on delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous optimization of HR technology landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

Program & Project Leadership :

- Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-module Workday implementations, enhancements, and optimization programs.

- Establish robust program governance including project planning, resource management, budgeting, and risk mitigation.

- Drive alignment between HR, IT, business units, and external partners to ensure frictionless program execution.

- Oversee UAT, change management, deployment readiness, and post-production stabilization.

Solution Architecture & Functional Expertise :

Serve as the Workday solution authority across modules including :

1. Workday HCM

2. Recruitment

3. Security & Advanced Security

4. Workday Prism Analytics

5. Advanced Reporting

6. Integrations (Studio, CCTPP, CCB)

- Translate business needs into scalable, future-ready Workday architecture and configuration.

- Evaluate system design options, recommend best practices, and ensure alignment to enterprise HR technology strategy.

Integration & Reporting :

- Lead end-to-end design, development, and validation of complex Workday integrations.

- Build advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Workday Prism and Advanced Reporting.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data flows and seamless integration with third-party systems.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management :

- Act as the primary liaison for global HR, IT, finance, and payroll teams throughout the program lifecycle.

- Manage external implementation partners and vendor relationships to ensure delivery excellence.

- Facilitate workshops, status updates, executive presentations, and decision-making forums.

Continuous Improvement :

- Conduct health checks, system audits, and release management to improve Workday performance.

- Identify automation, optimization, and innovation opportunities to maximize ROI.

- Mentor and guide internal teams on Workday functionality and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 12+ years of hands-on Workday experience with strong command across HCM, Security, Reporting, Recruitment, and Integrations.

- Proven leadership in large-scale global Workday implementations (full lifecycle).

- Strong understanding of HR processes, HR data models, and HR transformation programs.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, and executive stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with Workday Studio, CCTPP, CCB, web services, and integration frameworks.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Workday certifications in HCM, Integrations, Reporting, or Security.

- Experience in multi-country Payroll or Payroll integrations.

- Prior consulting experience in HR technology transformation programs.

- Background in industries such as Technology, Pharma, Professional Services, or Manufacturing
