Aquis Search is managing a confidential mandate for a Workday Integration Lead to join a global financial services organisation in Bangalore.
This role will own end-to-end design and delivery of complex HR integrations.
The role sits within a high-performing HR Technology / Workday team and will suit someone who enjoys hands-on build, solutioning and working closely with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, build and enhancement of Workday integrations to support HR processes and deliver an excellent user experience.
- Translate business, functional and technical requirements into robust, scalable integration solutions.
- Plan, execute and deliver key integration project milestones in an agile environment (JIRA-based).
- Collaborate with vendors, product managers and business stakeholders to analyse process flows and drive improvements.
- Partner with consultants in the team review their work, provide feedback and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Proactively update leadership on status, risks and issues; drive resolution of integration-related problems.
Skills & Experience :
- 57 years hands-on experience implementing Workday integrations with strong understanding of Workday architecture and methodology.
- Solid experience across the full lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, deployment and postgo-live support.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, Custom Reports, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, Document Transformation and EIB; exposure to Orchestrate / Workday Extend is a plus.
- Good understanding of Workday functional areas: HCM, Benefits, Payroll / Third-Party Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation and Absence.
- Proficient in XML, XSLT, JSON and comfortable with web development concepts.
- Strong knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP) and security/auth protocols (OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML, X.509, etc.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
