Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically inclined Workday Integration Associate Consultant to join our dedicated Workday practice.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, testing, and deployment of various Workday integrations.

You'll work closely with senior consultants and clients to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other internal/external systems, supporting critical HR and financial processes.

This position is ideal for an individual with foundational Workday integration experience who is eager to deepen their technical skills and contribute to impactful cloud projects.


Key Responsibilities :

Integration Development & Configuration :


- Assist in the design, development, and configuration of various Workday integration types using Workday's integration tools, primarily Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Cloud Connect.

- Work on simple to moderately complex integrations for Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Benefits, Financials, etc.

- Understand and apply Workday Web Services (APIs) for data exchange.


Data Transformation & Mapping :


- Support data mapping and transformation activities, ensuring accurate and consistent data flow between Workday and integrated systems.

- Work with various data formats like XML, XSLT, JSON, CSV, etc.


Testing & Troubleshooting :


- Execute comprehensive integration testing, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to intermediate integration issues, analyzing error logs and working with senior team members for complex problems.

- Validate data integrity and accuracy post-integration.


Documentation & Support :


- Assist in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation for integrations, including design specifications, test plans, and troubleshooting guides.

- Provide ongoing support for existing integrations, ensuring their stability and performance.


Collaboration & Learning :


- Collaborate effectively with senior consultants, other Workday functional teams, and client IT personnel.

- Actively participate in training sessions and self-learning to continuously enhance Workday integration knowledge and technical skills.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Experience : 2 - 4 years of experience in IT, with at least 1.5+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Workday Integrations.


- Workday Integration Tools : Foundational knowledge and practical experience with Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Workday Cloud Connect.


- Web Services/APIs : Basic understanding of Workday Web Services (APIs) and experience with SOAP/REST protocols.


- Data Formats : Familiarity with XML, XSLT, JSON, CSV, and XPATH. Ability to perform basic data transformations.


- Core Workday Modules : Basic understanding of at least one Workday functional area (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence).


- Testing Skills : Experience in integration testing methodologies and troubleshooting.


- Problem-Solving : Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.


- Communication : Clear verbal and written communication skills.


- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.


Nice to Have :


- Exposure to Workday Studio (even basic understanding).

- Experience with other integration tools or middleware platforms.

- Knowledge of security concepts related to integrations (e.g., SFTP, PGP, OAuth 2.0).

- Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM, Integrations).
