Workday HCM Senior Functional Consultant - Configuration & Implementation

Job Summary :

As a Workday HCM Senior functional consultant and HR Business Process Expert, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the Workday system, including implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of core modules : Core HR, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Performance, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation. You will partner closely with Talent Teams, and Development team to ensure the system effectively supports global HR operations while driving digital transformation and process automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Requirement Gathering : Collaborate with the Talent team and other Key stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.


- Solution & Configuration : Act as a domain expert in both Workday and HR business process. Lead the implementation, configuration, and on-going management of Workday HCM, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Performance, Compensation, and Advance Compensation.


- Training & Support : Provide training to Talent teams and support them through go-live and post-implementation phases.


- Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday modules in a timely and efficient manner.


- Feature Release : Stay updated with the latest Workday features and functionalities, particularly those related to Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Performance management, Compensation, Advanced Compensation and implement improvements as necessary.


- Best Practices : Advise Talent team on Workday best practices and optimization strategies to enhance their business processes.


- Flexibility to work occasional shift schedules (up to 20% of time) during critical project phases or system go-live periods.

Experience :

- 5+ years' work experience.


- 3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration and implementation experience.


- Experience with at least 2 full lifecycle Workday implementation experience.


- Experience in at least 3 HCM modules such as Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence management, Recruiting, Performance, Compensation, Advanced Compensation
