We are seeking a highly skilled Workato Integration Developer with 4-8 years of experience in enterprise application integration, API development, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting integrations using the Workato platform while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of business-critical workflows.


The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and architects to implement integration solutions across cloud and on-premise applications.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations using the Workato platform.


- Build and support production-grade integrations between enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, databases, and third-party systems.


- Develop reusable recipes, connectors, and workflows to streamline business processes.


- Monitor integration jobs and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high system availability.


- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring integration issues.


- Participate in deployment planning, release management, and production support activities.


- Develop and consume APIs using REST and SOAP protocols.


- Configure and manage API authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, API Keys, JWT, and token-

based authentication.


- Design data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization processes across systems.


- Integrate cloud applications such as CRM, ERP, HRMS, Finance, and collaboration platforms.


- Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between applications.


- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.


- Design end-to-end integration workflows, data mappings, and exception handling mechanisms.


- Collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to define integration architecture.


- Monitor integration performance and proactively identify bottlenecks.


- Optimize workflows for scalability, reliability, and performance.


- Implement logging, alerting, and error-handling mechanisms.


- Ensure integrations meet SLA, security, and compliance requirements.


- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams.


- Participate in code reviews and integration design reviews.


- Follow integration governance, security standards, and best practices.


- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 4-8 years of experience in Application Integration and Middleware technologies.


- Strong hands-on experience with Workato Development and Support.


- Experience building and supporting production integrations.


Strong knowledge of :


- REST APIs


- SOAP Web Services


- OAuth 2.0 Authentication


- API Keys & Token-based Authentication


- Experience in data mapping, transformation, and workflow automation.- Knowledge of JSON, XML, CSV, and other data formats.


- Understanding of ETL and data integration concepts.


- Experience with error handling, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting integration workflows.


- Familiarity with SQL and database integrations.


Preferred Technical Exposure :


- Integration with applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, Jira, Slack, or similar enterprise systems.


- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


- Exposure to iPaaS platforms besides Workato is an added advantage.


- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.


- Relevant Workato certifications will be an added advantage.
