About the Role :

As a Workato Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining integration workflows using Workatos automation platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver seamless data integration across applications and services.

You will be involved in end-to-end development from understanding business requirements to implementing integration solutions, testing, and troubleshooting. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of our clients operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop complex integration workflows and automation recipes using Workato.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Integrate applications using APIs, connectors, and middleware tools.

- Create reusable automation templates, workflows, and components.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations to ensure performance and reliability.

- Maintain documentation for integration processes, data flows, and system configurations.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to address integration issues.

- Follow best practices for error handling, versioning, and deployment strategies.

- Assist in mentoring junior developers and contributing to knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workato platform and automation workflows

- Strong understanding of API integrations (REST, SOAP), authentication methods (OAuth, API keys)

- Experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries

- Solid knowledge of data mapping, transformations, and error handling

- Familiarity with RDBMS systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

- Experience with JSON, XML, and data interchange formats

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Good documentation and process-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with other automation platforms such as Zapier, MuleSoft, or Apache Camel

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Prior experience in healthcare, finance, or e-commerce industries

- Certification in Workato or related integration technologies
