About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Wireless Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing wireless devices and networks, with hands-on expertise in Wi-Fi security protocols, network management, and connectivity testing. You will play a critical role in validating wireless device performance, ensuring reliable connectivity, and driving quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test device connectivity, roaming capabilities, and overall network behavior across multi-band Wi-Fi environments (Wi-Fi 4/5/6).

- Manage and configure Radius servers, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.

- Work extensively with WPA2/WPA3 security protocols and associated technologies.

- Handle HTTPS, TLS, OpenSSL, and certificate management tasks as part of security validation and testing.

- Set up and administer multi-band Wi-Fi networks for testing purposes.

- Analyze and troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues, performing root cause analysis and providing clear, actionable feedback.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, network operations, and product

management to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Drive testing tasks independently and communicate progress and issues effectively.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a test engineer focused on wireless devices and technologies.

- In-depth knowledge of WPA2 and WPA3 security protocols.

- Experience in Radius server configuration and management.

- Strong familiarity with HTTPS, TLS, OpenSSL, and certificate lifecycle management.

- Proven experience in setting up and administering multi-band Wi-Fi networks (Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6).

- Expertise in testing Wi-Fi device connectivity and roaming scenarios.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive tasks from start to finish.

- Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate issues, findings, and root-cause analyses.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with network monitoring and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).

- Knowledge of additional wireless technologies and protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee).
