Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer with strong expertise in switching, routing, and wireless technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in WLAN planning, RF troubleshooting, and wireless infrastructure design across diverse environments such as airports, offices, and outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and design WLAN coverage and infrastructure for various environments.
- Troubleshoot WLAN coverage, RF interference, and connectivity issues.
- Create detailed deliverables for planning, design, and implementation phases of wireless projects.
- Conduct wireless site surveys using industry best practices for Data, Voice, and Location-Based Services.
- Utilize wireless analysis tools such as Ekahau Survey Pro, AirMagnet Surveyor, Spectrum Analysis tools, Packet Analyzers, and Cisco WLC Config Analyzer.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available wireless infrastructure solutions in large-scale, multisite, international environments.
- Maintain solid knowledge of current and emerging wireless RF standards including Wi-Fi 802.11g/n/ac/ax.
- Analyze RF parameters and signal flows including frequency, power levels, modulation methods, channel widths, and signal losses.
- Work with Cisco Prime, Cisco ACS, and Cisco ISE.
- Support and configure Cisco and Aruba wireless solutions in both central and flex connect modes.
- Stay updated on contemporary and next-generation wireless architectures, protocols, and scalability strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Must have CCNA / CCNP R&S certification; Wireless certification preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in wireless network design and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in switching and routing technologies.
- Deep understanding of RF fundamentals and wireless standards.
- Proficiency in using wireless survey and analysis tools.
- Experience with Cisco and Aruba wireless platforms.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in large-scale enterprise wireless deployments.
- Familiarity with Cisco Prime Infrastructure, ACS, and ISE.
- Knowledge of future wireless technologies and architectures.
