Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of mobile engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.

- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and skill development planning.

- Promote collaboration across cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend, QA).

Technical Strategy & Roadmap :

- Define, implement, and own the technical roadmap for mobile application development.

- Drive architectural decisions, evaluate new technologies, and enforce long-term technical strategy.

Hands-on Development & Code Quality:

- Provide expert guidance and hands-on support in Flutter, Dart, and native mobile development (iOS/Android).

- Review code for quality, maintainability, performance, and security.

- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, and documentation.

Performance, Scalability & Optimization:

- Oversee app performance optimization, memory management, and rendering efficiency.

- Ensure scalability of mobile applications to meet increasing user demand.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend teams to deliver seamless, delightful user experiences.

- Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.

DevOps, Testing & Security:

- Champion best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, code coverage, and release management.

- Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection policies, and secure coding guidelines.

- Support the establishment of monitoring and alerting for app health and production stability.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

- Drive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance engineering productivity.

Requirements :

Core Experience:

- 10+ years of overall mobile application development experience.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience building high-quality apps using Flutter & Dart.

- 3+ years of leadership experience managing, coaching, and scaling mobile engineering teams.

Technical Expertise:

- Strong command of Flutter architecture, state management, animations, widgets, and platform integration.

- Solid experience in native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java).

- Strong integration experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and backend services.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, performance tools, and code review processes.

- Deep understanding of mobile security best practices, authentication, encryption, and secure data handling.
